6:45 – 8:00 Session 1: The Walk through the Bible that Sets Hearts Afire
- Jesus showed two disciples traveling to Emmaus and the whole group of apostles that every part of the Old Testament Scriptures are God’s testimony to Christ’s Person and redemptive work (Luke 24). When we learn to read the Bible the way Christ taught his first followers, we can expect to discover how the whole Scripture finds its unity in Jesus the Messiah.

9:15 – 10:30 Session 2: Reading the Road Signs: Following the Typology Road from the Old Testament to Christ
- The highways that link Old Testament events, institutions, and persons to their fulfillment in Christ are often marked by clear “road signs” which we call “types.” We can be confident that we are following routes that God embedded in the Bible when we see Old Testament figures directly interpreted for us in New Testament passages.

10:45 – 1200 Session 3: Recognizing the Landmarks: Jesus the Final Prophet, Great High
Priest and King of Kings
- Many Old Testament texts and themes are not explicitly interpreted by the New Testament as fulfilled in Christ. Nevertheless, as our mediator, Jesus fulfilled the offices of prophet, priest, and king. Remembering this will help us discern the patterns that link many passages to the Bible’s good news of the Redeemer who reconciles and renews us in knowledge, righteousness, and holiness.
