Do you ever find yourself challenged to understand the Bible, particularly difficult portions of the Old Testament? Would you like to learn how the entire Bible is held together, by the person and work of Jesus Christ?
Northwoods Presbyterian Church is pleased to announce the upcoming fall conference: Meeting Jesus on Every Page-Finding Christ in All the Scriptures. This conference will help all believers: pastors, teachers, lay people, young and old, to read the Bible the way Jesus taught: with Him as the heart and center. Dr. Dennis Johnson will show us how the Reformation’s themes of “Scripture alone,” “Christ alone,” and “Grace alone” should converge in how we read our Bibles. We will see how exploring the Scriptures’ Christ-centeredness will increase our delight in the Word and equip us to stand firm with the good news delivered once for all to the saints.
Come and see your study, reading, and hearing of the Scriptures bear much fruit, for the glory of God, by reading them how our Lord taught us to.
